Birth certificate translation in Singapore, accepted by ICA.
The single most requested document we translate. A foreign birth certificate is needed for almost every life application in Singapore — PR, citizenship, dependent passes, school enrolment and marriage registration — and every foreign-language copy must be rendered into a certified English translation.
About this service
A birth certificate in any language, from any country, is one of the documents ICA asks for when you apply for Permanent Residence, citizenship or a dependant's pass, and it is a standard requirement when you register a marriage at the Registry of Marriages (ROM / ROMM) or enrol a child in a Singapore school. If the original is not in English, you need a complete certified English translation.
We read the original certificate, format the translation to match its layout — including any stamps, seals and handwritten annotations — and attach a signed certification statement confirming the translation is a true and accurate rendering. That is what ICA and the other receiving authorities require.
For ICA PR, citizenship and LTVP applications the translation must also be notarised by a Singapore Notary Public (or issued or attested by the issuing country's embassy). We arrange the notarisation for you, so you never have to chase a second provider.

Choose the purpose (ICA, ROM, school, etc.), the source and target language, and upload a clear scan or photo.
You get a fixed, all-in price and turnaround — notarisation and apostille included as separate lines so there are no surprises.

You receive the certified soft copy by email first; hard copies and notarisation / apostille are arranged on request.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a notarised translation of my birth certificate for ICA PR?
Yes. For ICA PR, citizenship and LTVP applications the translation must be notarised by a Singapore Notary Public (or issued or attested by the issuing country's embassy). A plain certified translation on its own is not enough — we arrange the notarisation for you.
How much does a birth certificate translation cost?
A standard one-page birth certificate is a flat fee from around S$68 per page. Notarisation and SAL authentication / apostille are separate, clearly listed line items and are quoted before you pay.
How fast can you translate my birth certificate?
Most single-page birth certificates are translated, checked and certified the same or next working day. Same-day is available for orders confirmed before noon on a business day.
Can you translate a phone photo of my birth certificate?
Yes, as long as every part of the certificate — including stamps, seals and handwritten remarks — is legible. Clear photos of both sides are best.
